LCSW, 6 years of experience
New to Grow
I support women who are juggling a lot and feeling overwhelmed by creating a space that’s truly yours. A place to process, pause, breathe, and just be. My style is compassionate, honest, and authentic, and I want you to feel supported without judgment or pressure. My work is shaped by years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through school-based services, foster care work, and community-based therapy. I’ve worked with clients in homes, schools, and community settings, which helps me understand the real-life challenges people face beyond the therapy room. I also bring experience as a part-time college instructor, mentoring future social workers and staying connected to current, effective practice.
Your first session is all about slowing down, breathing, and sharing what’s going on in your life. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to feel differently about. I’ll also ask about different parts of your life: stress, supports, routines, and relationships. So I can really understand the full picture. Here’s what you can expect: - A space to be heard without judgment. - A look at your life to see what’s working and what’s getting in your way. - Help figure out your goals and what you want from this space. - Clear answers, guidance, and a little direction to leave the session feeling a bit lighter. This is your space, we’ll build it together in a way that really supports your growth.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in proven methods like DBT, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused work. I keep it honest and practical, working with you to identify roadblocks, shift unhelpful patterns, and create strategies that fit your life.
You’re ready to slow down, focus on yourself, and do the work to create real change. My ideal clients are open to growth, willing to explore what’s been holding them back, and ready to step into a life that feels freer and more intentional.
I help you manage intense emotions, build healthy coping skills, and improve your relationships. In session, we’ll practice real-life strategies you can use day-to-day.
We’ll explore unhelpful thoughts and patterns together and work on creating new ways of thinking that actually fit your life.
You’ll have a place to be fully heard and understood, where we go at your pace and honor your story.
I focus on what you already bring to the table and help you take realistic steps toward the change you want to see.
Your background and experiences matter, and I tailor our work to affirm and respect your identity while supporting your growth.
