I am passionate about supporting individuals, children, and families through life’s most challenging moments, whether you're navigating trauma, life transitions, or emotional and behavioral concerns. I have experience working with diverse populations including women, men, children, adolescents and young adults across community, hospital, and private practice settings.I use a person-centered approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and valued. Grounded in a strengths based perspective, I focus on helping you build confidence, recognize your strengths, and tap iinto your existing resilience. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, D.C. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Savannah State University—a journey that not only shaped my professional foundation but also deepened my commitment to culturally competent, community-focused care.
In a first session I aim to get to know you and your goals for therapy.
My practice is rooted in honoring your lived experience, culture, and identity. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or a loved one, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and hope. Let’s take the next step together.
In therapy, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I’m here to help you explore your strengths, process your experiences, and build tools to support your growth. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or relationship struggles, my role is to walk alongside you not ahead of you as we work toward healing and hope.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected—and to develop practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, or negative thinking patterns.
