I'm Patrice Flagle, a licensed clinical social worker, who has been providing individual, couple and family therapy for over 30 years. It seems like life is constantly changing, especially with the current challenges in the world the past few years. Whether your current stress is related to life events, or more personal issues, together we can work together to improve your mood, and achieve balance and overall wellness in your life. I am a life-long practitioner of yoga and meditation, having studied in India in 1985. In addition to my MSW degree in 1983, I earned my Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) degree in 2003 and Yoga Teacher certification in 2014, with various certifications and trainings in divorce mediation, the Gottman Method for couples, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Gestalt therapy. I specialize in relationship, couple, and family issues, as well as individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, issues regarding adjustment to life’s changes, stress management, women’s issues, and grief and loss. Utilizing a holistic, integrative approach, I am committed to helping you find the best possible you. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will get to know one another, discuss some basic background information, and then explore the challenges that resulted in your initiating the treatment process. Together we will develop a plan of action. a treatment plan to support you in being able to move forward and make changes during the therapeutic process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been certified CBT and TF-CBT for 15 years. Together we can utilize CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Couples Counseling

Most couples experience challenges during the course of their relationship. We will work together using a strength-based philosophy building on the foundation of love and commitment, while focusing on ways to increase communication, as well as emotional and physical intimacy.

Experiential Therapy

Since becoming certified in Gestalt therapy in 1985, I have been using a variety of experiential and integrative strategies to best support my client in unique ways wherever they are in their therapeutic journey.
