New to Grow
I’m Carli Weed, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Bloom & Branch Counseling. I graduated from Rutgers University–Camden in 2019 and have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, including substance use treatment, geriatric care, and clinical mental health services. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit and the unique journeys that shape each person’s story.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll review intake paperwork to better understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll then begin working collaboratively on a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. During this session, we will build our therapeutic alliance foundation.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets me apart as a therapist is the warm, compassionate environment I create while integrating evidence-based CBT techniques. I take time to truly get to know you as an individual, not just your symptoms, so therapy feels personalized and supportive.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with clients ranging from young adults to older adults, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques. My specialties include helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions, with a focus on fostering resilience and growth
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, focusing on practical skills that support improved coping, emotional regulation, and lasting change.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients process and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to traumatic or distressing experiences. This structured, evidence-based approach supports clients in developing healthier perspectives, reducing emotional distress, and improving overall functioning.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach supports clients in managing intense emotions, reducing maladaptive behaviors, and improving relationships and overall functioning.
