(she/her)
Living with anxiety, depression, trauma, or chronic pain can make you feel alone and exhausted. I know firsthand how overwhelming and frustrating these conditions can be. By seeking support, you’re already showing great courage, and I’m here to help you use that strength. While I can't guarantee a life entirely free from emotional or physical pain, I can assure you that dedicating effort to your own self-healing can make a meaningful difference, empowering you to reclaim your life and joy with renewed confidence. I invite you to honor the bravery that brought you here and take the next step towards recovering the kind of life you most desire. I’m here and ready to walk alongside as you move forward toward healing and growth. And, yes, your emotional and physical pain are real and it is not "all in your head." Let’s get started!
During our first session, my primary aim will be to truly understand your unique experience with mental, emotional, and physical pain. We’ll discuss your medical history, previous treatments, and, most importantly, your personal goals for overcoming pain and suffering. You can expect a comprehensive and compassionate evaluation of how your life has been negatively impacted, including your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about your experience. I will attentively listen to your story and, together, we will design a treatment plan that reflects your individual challenges, aspirations, and hopes for reclaiming the parts of life that mental and physical pain has taken from you.
I am passionate about working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain that persist despite medical and psychological treatments. I offer you my 12 years of experience in the mental health field and science-backed mind-body approaches. These approaches help you retrain your brain and body's faulty alarm signal that sustains emotional and physical pain, empowering you to get your life back and feel more confident in your ability to live life on your terms.
The individuals I work with live with depression, anxiety, trauma, or chronic pain where medical treatments and medicines have failed, robbing them of life fulfillment, joy, and satisfaction. They are frustrated and exhausted from the endless search for answers and remedies to overcome their emotional, mental, and physical pain. Yet, they demonstrate fortitude and commitment in getting their life back. It is their strong mindset that keeps them going even when it feels like they are out of options for recovery, which is a positive trait that can be leveraged for a successful therapy outcome.

Mind-body approach
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), an evidenced-based mind-body approach helps individuals with chronic pain and other syndromes like fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue achieve substantial changes in their pain experience, recovering the things that chronic pain has taken from them, like being active in their life, doing things they enjoy, as well as happiness, contentment, and fulfillment.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT helps individuals to focus on living a meaningful life by changing the way we experience chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and trauma and actively choosing values and goals that they can act on. This method can support those who suffer from emotional, mental, and physical pain by reducing the emotional distress associated with pain, increasing flexibility in the way they think about pain and suffering, and empowering them to engage in life activities despite discomfort. As a result, ACT can improve overall well-being and help reclaim a sense of purpose and satisfaction even when pain arises.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps individuals safely uncover and heal sub-conscious internal processes that keep people stuck in depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain symptoms. These processes are patterned ways of thinking, feeling, and acting that are protective, however, come with unintended consequences, such as low energy, decreased social activity, relationship distress, feeling like a failure and being broken.
