I’m a licensed therapist in the state of Ohio with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I’m here to support clients who feel stuck or overwhelmed, helping them rediscover motivation, strengthen self-esteem, and learn practical skills to move forward with hope. I also have experience walking alongside people through trauma, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, and addiction—whether in inpatient or outpatient settings. Above all, I believe every person deserves kindness, respect, and a genuine chance at a brighter future .

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I work with clients who have experienced trauma or life challenges that create barriers to living a happy and fulfilling life. In our first session, I'll take time to learn about your experiences and get to know you better. From there, we'll create a treatment plan tailored to your personal goals and needs. Many clients notice improvements in their overall well-being fairly quickly.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is my commitment to empathy and authenticity. I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I meet clients where they are, honoring their experiences and unique perspectives, and I bring genuine curiosity and care to every session. Clients often notice that they feel supported, safe, and empowered in my sessions. The results I aim for go beyond symptom relief: helping clients gain clarity, develop coping skills, strengthen self-compassion, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to explore their experiences, understand themselves more deeply, and create meaningful change in their lives. This often includes people navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, or big life transitions. I also enjoy supporting those who want to build confidence, strengthen resilience, and cultivate self-compassion. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach—meeting you where you are, at your own pace, and tailoring therapy to your unique goals and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can reflect, process, and experiment with new ways of coping. Clients who thrive in my practice are open to self-reflection, curious about themselves, and ready to take small, practical steps toward growth. Together, we focus on building insight, skills, and confidence so you can feel more empowered in your everyday life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a primary treatment approach in my practice. I use CBT to help clients identify and understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how unhelpful thinking patterns can contribute to distress. Together, we work to challenge cognitive distortions, develop more balanced perspectives, and implement behavioral strategies that support healthier coping.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice, mindfulness is a tool for helping clients feel more grounded, manage stress, and respond to challenges with greater awareness rather than reacting automatically.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I focus on meeting clients where they are and honoring their lived experiences, values, and goals. Sessions are guided by the client’s needs rather than a rigid structure, and I prioritize genuine connection, empathy, and collaboration. By offering consistent support and acceptance, clients often feel more comfortable exploring challenges, gaining insight, and moving toward personal growth.

Positive Psychology

In sessions, I help clients identify personal strengths, values, and sources of meaning, and we explore practical ways to increase positive emotions and life satisfaction. This might include gratitude practices, strengths-based reflections, or small, intentional changes that support overall well-being. These tools are flexible and tailored to each client’s goals and experiences.

Psychoeducation

I often explain concepts such as stress responses, emotional regulation, boundaries, and coping strategies using real-life examples that are easy to relate to. Psychoeducation is woven naturally into sessions and adjusted to each client’s learning style, pace, and needs. The goal is to help clients feel informed, supported, and confident in using new tools.
