Are you searching for something but not sure what it is? Do you feel like there's a missing piece in your life? Are you questioning who you are and wondering about your next steps? I get it—I’ve been there too! My name is Angela, and I deeply value authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness in myself and in the people I work with. I’m here to help you uncover that missing piece, identify the blocks holding you back, and define and achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself. Using a unique combination of training, life experience, and Jungian exercises, I create a personalized program just for you. Together, we’ll take a holistic approach to nurture your mind, body, and soul.
The initial sessions focus on building rapport, as a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial for making meaningful progress. It’s also a chance for us to get to know each other better. I'll share some information with you, and then ask about what brought you to therapy at this time. Therapy is all about what you’re willing to put into it, and everyone’s needs and goals are different. I adjust my approach to suit what works best for you. Some people focus on learning coping strategies, while others simply need someone objective, non-judgmental, and with a fresh perspective to talk to. Others may be living with chronic physical or mental conditions and need a space to grieve the loss of their independence or former life. My aim is to help you navigate your life feeling as happy, healthy, and whole as you want to be. Depending on why you're here, you should walk away with at least one technique to support yourself.
I specialize in helping with depression, anxiety, and trauma. Together, we can explore the root of your symptoms and find effective exercises to help you overcome the challenges they present. I work with you on your journey, using my unique training and personal experiences to support you in improving your life. I have firsthand experience, either personally or through supporting loved ones, with the complexities of mental illness, suicide, sexual abuse, special needs, chronic illness and pain, estrangement, dissociation, mood disorders, ADHD, divorce, parenting, emotional and financial abuse, and coercive control.
If you're experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, or even feel like you're losing control, I'd be happy to work with you to review and reduce those feelings. I enjoy helping women who have achieved career success or raised their children and are now figuring out who they are and what’s next. I also enjoy working with individuals who have unique talents and gifts that others may not fully understand.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term approach to behavioral treatment that helps people solve problems. It explores the connection between beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and the behaviors they lead to, helping to release negative thought patterns.
Trauma-informed care is a way of providing support that acknowledges the far-reaching effects of trauma and focuses on creating spaces that foster healing and recovery. It aims to recognize and address the signs of trauma in patients, families, and staff while ensuring that re-traumatization is avoided.
Jungian therapy is an in-depth, analytical form of talk therapy aimed at integrating the conscious and unconscious aspects of the mind. It helps individuals achieve balance and wholeness while exploring their “real” self, fostering harmony in mind, body, and soul.
Person-centered therapy is a humanistic approach that emphasizes the client's perspective and innate capacity for self-healing and personal growth.
Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis, an altered state of consciousness induced by the power of suggestion, to promote behavioral and emotional change. It can help reduce anxiety, depression, stress, and pain.

Angela is an amazing provider. She is caring, kind and offers ideas for things that seem outside my areas of thinking. She makes me feel validated in my feelings and I get the sense that she understands me very well. Even as I continue to piece my life together and share my stories in our sessions, she remains encouraging and thoughtful. She has helped me to better understand my feelings centered around low self-worth and encourages me to take care of myself even when it's difficult. <3

Angela and I had a great first meeting. I look forward to meeting with her next week to discuss things further. I like her "assignments" between visits, as it gives me a way to improve myself in a meaningful way on my own and helps keep me accountable.
