LCSW, 19 years of experience
Hello, my name is Pamela, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I hold a Master’s Degree from the University at Buffalo and have over 19 years of experience in the field of mental health. Throughout my career, I have specialized in helping individuals navigate trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, self-esteem challenges, life transition struggles, and grief. I work with adults of all ages. I am committed to helping my clients achieve meaningful improvements in their lives. My ideal clients are those who are motivated, engaged, and ready to make positive changes. I firmly believe that, with the right tools and support, everyone has the capacity to reach their goals and lead a more fulfilling life. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I incorporate techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, grief work, and traditional talk therapy to provide a holistic treatment experience. Boundaries and a supportive, empathetic environment are central to the work I do, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. If you're ready to begin your journey toward a more positive, fulfilled life, I invite you to contact me. Together, we will develop a plan that may help you live your best life.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and take time to get to know each other as I believe the therapeutic relationship is key to reaching goal that you want. Then we can discuss some specific challenges you are facing that brought you to therapy. We will talk about some possible treatment options and explore a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with depression, anxiety and trauma over the years both personally and professionally, I feel I have the ability to be understanding, empathic, and genuine in working with people. I also believe in honest communication as I feel this is key for progress in therapy.
I love to work with adults of all ages who are struggling with anxiety and depression brought on by all types of life events current and past including trauma. I enjoy working with older adults who feel overwhelmed with the life transitions that they are experiencing.
I believe each person is unique and so therapy should be unique as well. I use different methods of therapy to fit each persons needs, personal beliefs and comfort.
Life is hard sometimes, but I believe that positivity helps people become stronger and more resilient while through issues in life.
