New to Grow
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I work with individuals ages 3 and up. I specialize in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also enjoy working with children and their caregivers to help children be more successful in school and their households be more harmonious. As a parent myself, I understand the daily juggling act and the joys that come with family life. I would be honored to support you, your child, or your family through the ups and downs of life's journey.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
When I work with clients, I focus on the whole person and take a personal approach. I believe change is possible, and every client is unique. I always tailor my therapy services to individual needs, recognizing that where someone is at in life is just a snapshot in time. We will work together to focus on what you want to work on and what goals you want to reach.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I feel honored each day knowing individuals choose to share their life's moments with me in a safe and comfortable space.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
It can be a difficult decision to start counseling, but I'm here to help. I work with individuals and families to provide the tools needed to make positive changes in their lives. By empowering individuals and families to make positive changes, they can build upon their strengths and improve their overall well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I collaborate with clients to identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors that lead to distress. This process includes setting goals, exploring challenging situations and their associated thoughts, feelings, and actions, and utilizing techniques such as cognitive reframing and homework assignments to practice new coping mechanisms.
EMDR
I create a safe and comfortable environment for clients to focus on disturbing memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation. This structured process helps the brain reprocess the memory, reducing its emotional intensity and associated negative beliefs, with the goal of resolving the distress.
