About me

Hello, I'm Vincent. There are times when life can seem overwhelming and difficult to navigate, especially when you’re alone without a support system or the proper coping skills to alleviate life stressors. I can help guide your mental health journey, and together we can learn how to manage your life challenges and plot a course for success. Utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and acceptance-commitment therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a well-established form of psychotherapy aimed at improving mental health. CBT works by systematically analyzing the relationships among your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The goal is to help you understand how these interconnected patterns can affect your well-being and daily functioning. Through this collaborative process, we will work together to identify areas for growth and create practical steps to support your progress.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice I utilize the techniques of mindfulness- based therapy to help individuals in developing a greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. By practicing mindfulness, clients learn to observe their internal experiences without judgment, which can help foster a more accepting and compassionate relationship with themselves.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my therapeutic practice, I employ techniques grounded in acceptance and commitment therapy. Throughout the course of treatment, this approach promotes the nonjudgmental acknowledgment of thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, while assisting clients in clarifying and pursuing values that are personally significant. Acceptance and commitment therapy encourages psychological flexibility and provides individuals with effective strategies for managing their internal experiences, thereby supporting more deliberate and autonomous actions instead of reactive behaviors.
