New to Grow
I’m a client-centered therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I often support women and parents balancing multiple roles, as well as individuals exploring their relationship with substances or alcohol. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in and what you’re hoping for, without any pressure to share everything all at once. I use humor when it feels appropriate to ease nerves—because therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. Think of this as a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll begin getting to know each other and start creating a plan that feels realistic and supportive for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I connect with clients through warmth, humor, and genuine understanding, creating a space where you can be yourself—without judgment, pressure, or needing to have everything figured out. I’m especially skilled at helping you explore different perspectives, offering clarity while still honoring your emotions. This balance allows for deeper insight, greater self-awareness, and more confidence in how you move forward.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work well with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected while managing the demands of daily life. Many of my clients are women and parents navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the mental load of caregiving. I also support individuals exploring their relationship with substances or alcohol. Our work focuses on building insight, developing healthier coping strategies, and helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
Strength-Based
I use a strength-based approach to help clients recognize their resilience, abilities, and past successes. This builds confidence, hope, and a sense of empowerment in their healing process.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)
I use a CBT approach to help clients gently explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how they influence one another. This helps them build healthier thinking patterns and practical coping skills.
Positive Psychology
I use a positive psychology approach to help clients focus on their strengths, values, and what brings them joy and meaning. This supports hope, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being.
