LCMHC, 8 years of experience
I’m Aileen Imana, a licensed therapist passionate about helping women and neurodivergent clients heal, grow, and reclaim their power. I provide a supportive space to explore life’s challenges, develop practical coping skills, and connect with your strengths so you can live with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Therapy has always been more than a profession for me—it’s a calling. My path has been shaped by my own healing journey, which taught me that resilience isn’t about never breaking; it’s about learning how to bend without losing yourself. Over the years, I’ve worked with women, creatives, and neurodivergent clients to transform self-doubt into self-trust, pain into purpose, and overwhelm into clarity. I believe in blending evidence-based tools with real-world application, honoring both the science and the soul of healing. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and a belief that everyone has the capacity to create a life they don’t just survive, but truly love.
In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and how we can work together. You’ll share at your own pace while I ask gentle, clarifying questions. Together, we’ll identify immediate priorities and small, doable steps toward relief and progress. This is your safe, judgment-free space.
I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies to create a holistic, flexible approach. My greatest strengths are building deep rapport, providing clear and actionable tools, and helping clients feel both supported and challenged. I combine clinical expertise with genuine warmth, cultural awareness, and creative problem-solving.
I work best with women, creatives, and neurodivergent individuals navigating anxiety, trauma recovery, ADHD, or major life transitions. My clients are often seeking more balance, self-acceptance, and clarity in relationships, career, and identity. They value authenticity, are open to self-reflection, and want to combine emotional healing with practical strategies for real-life change.
