New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut with over a decade worth of experience. I specialize in supporting people with anxiety, stress, and postpartum transitions. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your mind won’t slow down or when you don’t recognize yourself during a major life change. I help clients identify patterns, build coping skills, and reconnect with their sense of confidence and stability. provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we’ll work on practical tools for managing anxiety, navigating relationships, and finding balance after life transitions. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, understood, and confident as you move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and manageable
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We'll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what’s bringing you in, your history, and what you’re hoping for. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story all at once. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more grounded than when you arrived. We’ll move at your pace, and we’ll decide together what feels most important to focus on moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and not judged. I aim to offer a calm, steady presence while helping you gently make sense of what you’re experiencing. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping you feel more stable and supported in your day-to-day life. Together, we move at a pace that feels manageable, building insight and practical tools while honoring your emotional experience.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Struggling with anxiety, stress, or postpartum adjustments? Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you and build strategies to help you feel calmer, stronger, and more yourself.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In our work together, we’ll gently explore the thoughts that show up automatically, especially during moments of stress, anxiety, low mood, or self-doubt. Often, these thoughts are deeply ingrained and feel like facts rather than interpretations. CBT allows us to slow down, examine them with curiosity, and consider alternative perspectives that feel more balanced and compassionate. I use CBT in a collaborative and practical way. That might include identifying patterns, challenging unhelpful thinking styles, developing coping tools, building behavioral activation strategies, or practicing new responses to old triggers. Sessions are active and goal-oriented, but always paced with care and attuned to your readiness.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on understanding how past experiences and relationships shape current patterns, emotions, and ways of relating. Often, the struggles we face today have roots in earlier experiences that may not be fully conscious. In our work together, we’ll explore recurring themes in your relationships, self-perception, and emotional responses with curiosity and compassion. By increasing insight and awareness, we can begin to shift long-standing patterns and create more freedom in how you experience yourself and others. This approach offers space to not just manage symptoms, but to understanding the “why” beneath them, supporting meaningful and lasting change.
