I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Georgia, and I’ve spent the last several years helping women and adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, discouraged, or “not themselves” finally feel understood and supported. My approach is simple: you’re a whole person, not a set of symptoms. My work is about getting curious together about why you feel the way you do — not just putting a Band-Aid on it. Many of my clients come to me feeling tired of pushing through on their own, unsure what’s happening with their mood, or confused by changes in their hormones, stress, or sleep. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first appointment is about an hour, and it’s a calm, honest conversation where you get to show up exactly as you are. I’ll ask about your background, what you’ve been feeling, and what you want your life and mental health to look like. Together, we’ll start shaping a working diagnosis and create a treatment plan that feels doable and aligned with your goals. I’m collaborative — not prescriptive. You get a voice in every decision. I do prescribe medications when appropriate, but I do not prescribe stimulants or benzodiazepines. If you need support in those areas, I can discuss safer, non-habit-forming alternatives or help you find the right provider.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My biggest strength is listening deeply. I want you to feel seen, heard, and understood — not rushed. I’m honest and down-to-earth, and I ask for the same honesty from you because real change only happens when we’re both showing up as our true selves. My clients often tell me they appreciate how safe and straightforward things feel in session. I won’t overwhelm you with clinical talk, and I won’t judge where you’re starting from. We take things step by step.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m a strong fit for adults dealing with: -Anxiety, worry, and overthinking -Depression, burnout, or loss of motivation -Mood changes related to women’s health, stress, perimenopause, or hormone shifts -People who want a holistic or whole-body approach — someone who wants to understand the why, not just take a pill -Clients who want a balance of medication management, lifestyle support, and gentle accountability I am not the right provider if you are seeking stimulant or benzodiazepine prescriptions, or if you’re looking for crisis or emergency psychiatric care. If you want a provider who listens, collaborates, and empowers you to take control of your mental health — while also grounding everything in evidence-based care — I would be honored to work with you.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I believe that changing your mindset and working on building a positive way of thinking, can help drastically improve anxiety and depression.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
It's important to find solutions to the problems, and to not dwell on the negative aspects of these problems.
Integrative
It is important to treat the whole person. And there are many ways to help someone reach their goals, along with conventional and complementary approaches. Lifestyle changes can help with your overall health, including mental health. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can lead to depression and anxiety, along with other health concerns.

Wonderful provider. I feel like she actually listens to me and works to develop treatment plans to fit my lifestyle. She is first one to help me try to get to a more holistic approach for my issues. Very easy to talk to.

Jennifer has been great to work with so far! My intake session was very comprehensive and I really felt like my concerns and goals were listened to. I also like that she recommends supplements in addition to working on finding the medication that works for me.
