Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start by exploring what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I’ll take time to understand your background, strengths, and current challenges so we can set meaningful goals together. You can expect a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly and at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in building strong, trusting relationships and tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, emotionally focused approach that encourages self-awareness and healing. Clients appreciate my balance of warmth and practicality helping them not only process emotions but also develop concrete tools for change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, emotional distress, or unhealthy patterns of coping, including struggles with addiction or compulsive behaviors. I work with people who are ready to explore the deeper emotions and experiences driving their challenges and want to create lasting, meaningful change. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking clarity, emotional balance, and healthier ways to connect with themselves and others.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) would be used for clients who are experiencing difficulties with negative thought patterns or unhelpful behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. It is commonly applied to treat anxiety disorders, depression, phobias, and stress-related issues. CBT is also useful for clients who want to develop coping skills, challenge irrational beliefs, and improve problem-solving and emotional regulation. It can be particularly effective when a client is motivated to engage in structured sessions and practice techniques between appointments.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be used for clients who struggle with intense emotions, impulsive behaviors, or difficulty maintaining relationships. It is particularly effective for individuals with borderline personality disorder, self-harm behaviors, or chronic suicidal thoughts. DBT is also beneficial for clients who need help balancing emotional acceptance with behavioral change. It can support those dealing with mood disorders, trauma-related issues, or substance use by teaching skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) would be used for clients who are experiencing emotional distress, relationship difficulties, or struggles with self-worth and attachment wounds. It is helpful for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or feelings of disconnection. EFIT focuses on helping clients explore and understand their emotional experiences, identify patterns that block growth, and develop a stronger sense of security within themselves and their relationships. It is especially effective for those seeking deeper emotional healing and a more compassionate, connected sense of self.
