Are you struggling to feel connected to your spouse or finding it hard to express your needs? Are there struggles that you are facing as a parent that you feel are hard to address? Would you like to show up differently in either or both of these relationships and ready for support? My goal to normalize the struggles that are common in our most valuable relationships and help people see that they are not alone. I do so by providing a safe, compassionate space for clients to express vulnerability with their partner(s) or about their struggles with parenthood, and discover what they truly want out of their relationships. I approach therapy with a humanistic, client-centered, holistic and goal-oriented lens, focusing on reconnecting back to the self. The relationship we have with ourself has the power to transform our lives for the better, and increase the quality of our relationships with others. I emphasize both in therapy.
Our first session will be about getting to know each other better, introductions to expectations on both ends, and creating a plan for what therapy will look like moving forward.
Working through my own patterns and behaviors in therapy helped me to realize that I did not have to stay in a lifestyle or mentality just because it was how I was raised or the only way I was shown. This personal experience inspires me daily to help others also discover the barriers and obstacles holding them back from the life they truly desire to live.

Utilizing CBT to identify thought and behavior patterns helps to figure out where we can take back the control and patterns that we feel out of touch with and keep us in survival mode. Beginning to understand our natural responses and choosing to make changes can bring down barriers for most people to begin living a life with better quality and reduce stress and/or anxiety.
Working through our dialect and using DBT skills to create better interpersonal relationships with those we care most about fostering relationships with and also with ourselves. I use DBT to assist clients in discovering their ability to regulate and manage stress, as well as improve their overall wellbeing.
I am passionate about helping parents search within themselves to find solutions to parenting goals, whether they are expecting, new parents, or parents realizing they desire a better relationship with their children.
