Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Indiana. I received my Masters from the University of Louisville and have been practicing for 12 years. I help people struggling with guilt, shame, anxiety or stress from their career, parenting or relationships... as well as many other life challenges. I wants to help you experience life in the best way possible . I believe in getting as much background information in order to better explore how to help you with undoing patterns or maybe learning new ones.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I'll hopefully get some background information to better get to know you as time allows.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am patient and kind regarding the challenge of sharing difficult information. I try to become familiar with my clients in a way that helps them be comfortable, knowing your friends and family members names and your hobbies. I genuinely like people and truly want to see people feel better.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Any and all ages. Those with sexuality struggles. Christians with strained relationships with their faith. Caregivers and people with Chronic illness.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Looking at patterns of the past will help us identify behaviors that have not been helpful. We will look for better ways to cope with problems. More goal oriented thoughts and behaviors can promote a sense of accomplishment in daily life.

Christian Counseling

Utilizing faith to work through guilt, shame or other difficult feelings is very helpful for those of us who have grown up with strong religious emphasis. The power of grace, love and forgiveness is central to this approach. Recognizing that Christian teaching can promote positive mental health can bring relief from suffering.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Learning mindfulness skills can help with managing difficult situations and improve conflicts in relationships. Working on how to manage strong emotions can be very effective in reducing stress in one's life. I will help you learn how to communicate assertively and to set boundaries in relationships.
