I’m a therapist who works with individuals who feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in their relationships—often because they’ve learned to prioritize others’ needs over their own. Many of my clients struggle with anxious or avoidant attachment, fearing rejection, avoiding conflict, or unsure how to express what they truly need. In our work together, I offer a compassionate, down-to-earth space where shame and guilt can soften, confidence can grow, and healthier, more secure connections can take shape. Therapy with me is meant to feel safe and human—a place where you can take your shoes off, be yourself, and begin building a more grounded, empowered relationship with others and with yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is about creating safety and getting to know you—not fixing or pushing anything before you’re ready. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, with space for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life or relationships. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay—I’ll help guide the conversation gently. You can expect a collaborative, grounded experience where curiosity replaces judgment and your experiences are met with warmth and respect. We’ll begin to explore patterns that may be showing up in your relationships, emotions, or sense of self, while also talking about what support looks like for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, less alone, and with a clearer sense of what therapy together could offer moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes my work unique is the balance I bring between strong clinical training and a deep respect for the relational nature of healing. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and skills-based modalities like DBT, which has taught me that meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight—and that safety, consistency, and trust are essential for growth. I understand, both personally and professionally, how attachment patterns can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. This awareness informs my belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful part of the healing process. While I am always professional and ethically grounded, I strive to create a space that feels warm, nonjudgmental, and human—where clients can feel genuinely safe, understood, and supported as they build insight, skills, and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My dream clients are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who have spent much of their lives attuning to others while quietly disconnecting from themselves. They are often caring, perceptive, and emotionally intelligent—yet struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, or a persistent sense of insecurity in relationships. Many grew up learning that love required effort, adaptability, or emotional restraint, and now find themselves caught between longing for closeness and protecting themselves from rejection or disappointment. What they all have in common is a deep desire for healthier, more secure connections—and a readiness to look inward with honesty and courage. They want to understand their patterns, soften shame, and learn how to show up in relationships with more confidence, clarity, and self-trust. They’re not broken; they’re tired of carrying everything alone and are ready to build a life and relationships that feel more grounded, authentic, and safe.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

My work is grounded in attachment-based treatment, informed by specialized training in rejection sensitivity and a deep understanding that attachment is foundational to social, emotional, and cognitive development. Attachment patterns profoundly shape adult emotional regulation, relationship quality, and the ways individuals show up in romantic partnerships and friendships. By attending to these internal attachment dynamics, I’m able to understand clients more fully and offer a holistic, person-centered approach that supports growth from the inside out.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my practice as a practical, skills-based approach to help clients identify and regulate emotions, strengthen interpersonal effectiveness, and build confidence in setting boundaries while clearly identifying personal values and needs. DBT provides structure and concrete tools that support stability, replacing chaotic or harmful coping patterns with healthier, more sustainable strategies for daily life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. By building awareness of cognitive distortions and strengthening adaptive thinking, CBT supports emotional regulation, problem-solving, and meaningful behavior change in everyday life.

Motivational Interviewing

I incorporate Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a collaborative, respectful approach that honors each client’s pace and autonomy—especially important for those who learned early on that their needs or voices were minimized. MI creates space to explore ambivalence without pressure or judgment, helping clients reconnect with their own values, desires, and inner authority as they move toward change that feels self-directed and secure.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I utilize Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) through an attachment-based lens to help clients identify deeply rooted beliefs shaped by emotionally unpredictable or invalidating relationships—such as feeling responsible for others’ emotions or believing they must be perfect to be worthy of care. By gently challenging these beliefs, we work toward more flexible, self-supportive ways of thinking that foster emotional steadiness, self-trust, and healthier relationships.
