Using collaborative approaches such as CBT, Attachment Theory, and IFS, treatment is tailored to each individual's unique needs. I provide a comfortable, supportive, nonjudgmental atmosphere where you can openly confront issues and work toward your goals.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My approach is collaborative, setting small, realistic goals that we can incrementally build upon. Treatment is tailored to fit each person's unique needs and circumstances. I work with kids, adolescents, and adults struggling with emotional, behavioral, and relational issues. Depending on your needs, I will take more of a lead on asking questions, or allow you more space to educate me on what you need. I always begin by addressing issues of safety and confidentiality to ensure your privacy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Goal setting is a collaborative task. I ask you to identify your goals, and in discussion, offer ideas of other, perhaps smaller goals, or goals that may be more on target to get to where you want to be. We work together to create realistic, achievable steps toward your vision. I suffered from anxiety, depression, and severe eating disorders. I had a lot of unhelpful therapy and wanted to better understand what these therapists were trying to do. I have a passion for helping people and paying it forward.

I work with individuals and families facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and behavioral concerns. We are living in difficult times and could all use extra support. I provide a supportive relationship in which to navigate these waters and general life struggles together. I value the building of rapport and respect the time it takes for some people to feel comfortable opening up.
