LMFT, 20 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. My passion lies in helping individuals, couples, families, and support groups achieve meaningful and lasting change. Credentials and Expertise: I graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine’s MFT program and also hold an MBA from Wesleyan College. This unique combination allows me to facilitate growth and healing effectively. Holistic Approach: I believe in holistic care, recognizing that both physical and mental health are essential components of overall wellness. My approach integrates mind, body, and spirit to promote lasting well-being.
In our first session, I’ll guide you through a whole-person assessment that looks at the four pillars of health: biological, psychological, social, and spiritual. Together, we’ll explore which areas may feel out of balance and talk about your expectations for the next 3–6 months. We’ll also begin setting goals so we have a clear path forward and can stay focused on what matters most to you.
What makes my approach unique is my focus on drawing from your existing strengths and helping you see the possibilities for growth. I listen deeply to understand where you want to go, while also identifying potential barriers that may come from patterns of behavior. I also integrate knowledge of the brain–gut connection, recognizing the powerful link between physical and emotional health, to support a more complete path to wellness.
I love working with adults over 25 who are ready to invest in themselves, explore their strengths, and create meaningful change. My clients are motivated to grow, open to new perspectives, and eager to build a more balanced and fulfilling life.
With extensive experience in healthcare settings, I specialize in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which helps clients identify strengths, build on existing resources, and develop practical steps toward their goals. In sessions, I guide clients to notice what’s already working, highlight their progress, and create clear, achievable pathways forward. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing to support clients in exploring ambivalence, strengthening motivation, and taking meaningful action toward lasting change.
