About me

Hi there, I am Anie. I know that taking that first step toward support is difficult but courageous. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions, using CBT, DBT, and a client-centered approach to meet each person where they are. If you're ready to explore healing and change in a safe, compassionate space, I'd be honored to walk that journey with you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll get to know each other in a calm, supportive space. I'll ask questions to understand what's been going on and what brought you in. There's no pressure to share anything you're not ready for; we'll go at your pace. It's normal to feel nervous, but this first step is about connection, not perfection.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My journey into the mental health field began when I noticed a deep need in my church community to openly talk about mental health people were struggling in silence, and I felt called to help. What started as a desire to support others quickly became a passion, leading me to graduate school, where I completed my practicum at a crisis house working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addiction, trauma, and homelessness, to name a few things. That experience showed me just how powerful therapy can be, even simply being a listening ear can bring light to someone’s darkest moments. What continues to motivate me today is walking alongside clients as they heal, grow, and realize they don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to say, "I can't do this alone anymore" and is looking for a safe, compassionate space where they can finally put their burdens down and talk openly, without any fear of judgment. Your goal isn't just to cope; it’s to step out of the silence and rediscover your strength, working toward healing, growth, and the beautiful realization that you don't have to carry it all by yourself.
