About me

I’m a client-led and compassionate therapist who believes therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—I draw from a variety of modalities like CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness to meet you where you are. My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you gain insight, build coping tools, and create lasting changes that fit your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other. I’ll share a little about myself and how I work as a counselor, and you’ll have the chance to tell me about your background and what brought you to therapy. We’ll go over your intake information, talk through your main concerns, and start clarifying what you’d like to get out of our work together. By the end of the session, we’ll make a plan for next steps—whether that’s scheduling follow-up sessions or exploring referrals

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is that I genuinely care about the people I work with. I show up as real, honest, and compassionate, creating a space where clients feel supported and understood. I’m an active counselor in session—I’ll ask questions, share feedback, and introduce tools that fit your unique situation. With a wide variety of experience to draw from, I can adapt my approach to meet your needs and help you move toward meaningful change

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are people who are ready to make changes but may feel stuck on how to get started. I work well with individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, as well as those wanting to improve relationships or set healthier boundaries. Whether you’re looking for tools to manage your mental health, support through a tough season, or space to figure out your next steps, I meet you where you are. I especially connect with clients who value a collaborative, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a really down-to-earth way. Think of it like learning how to use your mind as a tool—you don’t just talk about problems, you learn how to actually work with your thoughts. I’ll break things down with simple explanations about how your brain works and give you practical skills you can use right away to manage stress, anxiety, or whatever life is throwing at you. My goal is to help you feel more in control, build healthier habits, and create real changes that stick

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

With SFBT, we keep things future-focused and practical. Instead of staying stuck in the problem, we highlight what’s already working and build on your strengths. The idea is to create quick, meaningful changes that move you closer to your goals. It’s about finding solutions that fit your life and helping you start seeing progress sooner rather than later
