Together, we create practical tools, strengthen connections and build healthier , fulling lives. My approach combines evidence based techniques with a personalized, compassionate touch to empower you to feel understood, supported and ready to thrive.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session , my goal is to get to know you and what brings you to therapy. We will talk about what you are experiencing, any symptoms or challenges you are facing, your personal history and what most important to you right now. I will also ask your goals for therapy so that together, we can create a plan that keeps our session focused and meaningful. This initial session is about understanding your needs and setting the foundation for a path forward that works for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I work with couples and individuals using evidence based approaches to support meaningful growth and connections. What sets me apart is my background in art therapy which inspires a creative, flexible, outside- the- box approach encouraging spontaneity and innovative ways of thinking even though traditional talk therapy is the focus .
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I help adults navigate life's challenges, from relationship struggles , depression, anxiety to adhd and major transitions. In a supportive, collaborative space, we work together to build tools , strengthen connections and create more balanced fulfilling life.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have been integrating ACT into my clinical practice with adults experiencing depression and anxiety in the past four yeas. I have found ACT to be effective in supporting clients to disengage from unhelpful thought patterns, cultivate cognitive flexibility, and align with value based behaviors.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have utilized CBT in my practice as a foundational approach to help client's identify negative thought patterns, reframe maladaptive cognitions , and develop more effective coping strategies for life's challenges. I also integrate mindfulness techniques as part of my CBT based psychoeducation.
Couples Counseling
Over the past 5 years i have engaged in supporting couples experiencing communication and trust issues. I have completed multiple training in Gottman method and integrate evidence based Gottman research and interventions to help couples strengthen friendship, enhance communication and deepen connection.
