In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first sessions we will start with introductions, discuss challenges that you are facing, and develop some treatment goals to help you overcome your challenges.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I provide a non-judgmental, genuine, safe space for you to discuss those issues that are bothering you and getting to the root causes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with students and trauma survivors. Students face many challenges that are sometimes overlooked or not acknowledged. Almost every person has experienced some kind of traumatic event in their lives. For many people they may experience life impacting symptoms from their trauma and do not possess the skills to get past them. My job is to teach the skills and support you in overcoming your trauma and minimize your trauma symptoms.

Understanding attachment styles can help a person understand their strengths and weaknesses in relationships. Not just parent and child, but friendship, romantic relationships, and professional relationships.

Psychoeducation

Providing psychoeducation can help a client understand their diagnosis, behaviors, coping skills, and interventions that can decrease mental health ir substance abuse symptoms.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT can help change behaviors and build healthy skills to navigate life without self-harming.
