Hello, my name is Deserae, and welcome to my profile! As a licensed clinical social worker, I am passionate about supporting individuals in identifying their own path toward their mental health goals. With a Master's degree in Social Work with an Emphasis on Hispanic Culture from Our Lady of the Lake University, I bring a diverse background and skill set to my therapy practice.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and establishing a strong therapeutic relationship. I will listen carefully to your concerns, gather relevant background information, and work with you to identify your treatment goals. This initial meeting serves as an opportunity for you to ask questions, express your expectations, and determine if we are a good fit to work together on your mental health journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in working with individuals dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges, including ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, trauma, and more. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to process their experiences, develop coping skills, and work towards positive change.
