New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel like a conversation, not a test. I help young women and men move through anxiety, depression, and major life changes with support that's both grounding and relatable. My style blends CBT with an eclectic, flexible approach—because no two people are the same. In our first session, you can expect a welcoming space, zero judgment, and a chance to simply breathe and be honest. Together, we’ll uncover what’s weighing you down and build practical tools to help you feel lighter, clearer, and more in control.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, your history, and what you’re hoping to gain from counseling. This helps me understand your needs and start building a plan that feels right for you. The pace is always comfortable—you’re in control of what you want to share. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of the support I provide and the next steps we’ll take together.
My therapeutic style is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I intentionally take an eclectic approach—meaning I tailor each session to what you need. I pull from a variety of evidence-based modalities to match your personality, goals, and pace, rather than expecting you to fit a rigid method. Clients often describe me as personable, relatable, and easy to talk to, which helps create a safe, supportive space to explore difficult emotions and build real skills.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over five years of experience supporting young women and men navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and everyday stressors. My approach is personable, relatable, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients feel understood and empowered. I aim to meet each person where they are, helping them build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.
I take an eclectic approach, meaning I pull from different therapeutic styles based on what each client needs. I get to know the person in front of me and tailor my methods so the work feels supportive, practical, and effective. Whether we’re exploring thoughts, building coping skills, setting goals, or finding strengths, I blend the tools that fit best to help clients move toward growth in a way that matches their unique situation
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a very practical and supportive way. I help clients notice the thoughts and patterns that may be holding them back, explore how those thoughts affect their feelings and choices, and build real-life skills to shift them. Together, we work on developing healthier perspectives, trying out new coping tools, and creating small, meaningful changes that make daily life feel more manageable
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy by helping clients identify their strengths, resources, and what’s already working in their lives. Instead of staying stuck in the problem, we focus on small, realistic steps that move them toward the future they want. I work collaboratively with clients to highlight their abilities, set clear goals, and build on their successes so they can create meaningful change quickly and confidently.
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their own motivation for change in a supportive, non-judgmental way. I work with them to understand their values, highlight their strengths, and resolve mixed feelings that might be getting in the way. Instead of pushing change, I guide clients in discovering their own reasons and confidence to move forward at a pace that feels right for them
