LCSW, 21 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults across various settings, including probation, schools, community programs, and child welfare (DFCS). My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, and I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, and challenges related to life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can heal, grow, and build resilience.
In our first session, we'll focus on building a strong foundation of trust and connection. We'll take time to get to know each other, explore the challenges you're currently facing, and discuss any strategies or techniques you've tried so far. Together, we'll begin to set clear, achievable goals for therapy and identify areas you'd like to grow or change. This session is all about creating a safe, supportive space where your voice is heard and your journey begins.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to meet clients exactly where they are, honoring their individual journey and helping them tap into their existing strengths to overcome current challenges. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide clients in reshaping their thought patterns, empowering them to manage feelings of uneasiness and prioritize their overall well-being. My approach is both compassionate and practical—I've helped many clients increase their self-esteem, reduce symptoms of depression, and embrace a more intentional life by setting healthy boundaries and choosing themselves first. I’m committed to walking alongside you as you create a life that feels safe, empowered, and authentically yours.
My ideal clients are adolescents, young adults, and women who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives and move toward personal growth and prosperity. Whether you're facing challenges like anxiety, depression, or life transitions, my goal is to help you build confidence and resilience. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you shift unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier behaviors. Together, we’ll add practical tools to your coping toolbox so you can navigate life with greater clarity and strength.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a highly effective, evidence-based model that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that interfere with emotional well-being. In my practice, I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and take meaningful steps toward growth. I believe that our thoughts significantly influence how we feel and act. By gaining awareness of these internal processes, clients can begin to shift long-standing patterns, improve decision-making, and reclaim control over their mental health. My motto is, "Come in and take your cape off."
