Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, National Certified Counselor, Addiction and Recovery Specialist, Certified Life Coach, and Board Certified Biblical Counselor. I know what it means to “press and persue” many sleepless tormented nights, consumption of fear, and barriers she learned that setbacks became set-ups to learn from life trails. If you feel like you’re being held captive, my goal is to free the captive in you! There is light at the end of the tunnel. I possess more than 10 years of experience in clinical mental health.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will identify and examine negative thoughts and beliefs: This involves recognizing automatic thoughts and underlying beliefs contributing to your distress. Challenge and reframe unhelpful thoughts to question the validity of your thoughts and develop more balanced and realistic perspectives. We will develop coping skills and strategies such as relaxation techniques, problem-solving, and assertiveness to manage difficult situations and emotions

Faith based therapy

I incorporate a biblical approach into my sessions. We will explore how faith and scripture can support your emotional and mental health, bringing peace and strength to the challenges. We will begin each session with a brief moment of prayer.

Christian Counseling

Incorporating faith and scripture can support your emotional and mental health, bringing peace and strength to the challenges. We will begin each session with a brief moment of prayer.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Helping individuals understand their thoughts and feelings more flexibly allows them to act in accordance with their values despite difficult emotions. It emphasizes accepting challenging experiences rather than trying to control or eliminate them.

Couples Counseling

Counseling provides a secure space where individuals can feel comfortable sharing their experiences and emotions without fear of judgment. Exploration of Thoughts and Feelings: Through open dialogue, clients can gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their beliefs, and the underlying causes of their challenges. Goal Setting and Change: The goal of couples counseling is to create a safe space to help couples identify their goals, develop strategies for change, and work collaboratively with the therapist to gain rapport and achieve their desired outcomes.
