Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to stablish a comfortable setting for you to feel free and share the struggles or issues that led to our session. Then together, we will come up with a tailored plan for us to work in follow up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, one of my biggest strengths is the ability to actively listen, empathize, and support those who I work with without judgment and with an open mind. I'm also very genuine and compassionate which helps me connect with people and offer the necessary advice and guidance they need.

My treatment methods

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my years of experience, I have found this Modality to be very effective to help clients dealing with Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder. In my practice I use this technique to teach my clients be more insightful about their feelings and emotions, develop mindfulness skills, and learn how to self-regulate their emotions, and reduce and eliminate self-harming behaviors as well as suicidal thoughts.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When applying CBT, I can teach my clients understand how our thoughts can impact our mood, feelings, and behaviors positively or negatively. Clients will also learn to recognize intrusive and unhealthy thoughts interfering with their functioning and be able to reframe these thoughts.

Grief Therapy

I utilize Grief Counseling to help those who have experienced a loss/es, such as death of a loved one, or a pet. Grief counseling provides clients with the unconditional support needed to process their sorrow, pain, and other emotions that are natural of grief.
