PMHNP, 7 years of experience
I am a board-certified Psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have more than a decade of experience working in various clinical settings as a nurse; and 7 years of Family Nurse practitioner focusing on delivering quality care. I received training on mental health across lifespan. I am compassionate, respecting of my clients and their family, I am fully devoted to each and everyone of my clients ensuring optimum treatment using psychotherapy, and medication management, based on an individual plan of care to help clients manage their condition.
My first session with a client begins with brief introductions, then we dive into the specific challenges he or she is currently facing. The interaction will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in the subsequent sessions. After each session, the clients are impressed on the manner that care is being handled.
My greatest strength includes making a safe space for my client and working effectively to better meet their needs. Another one of my prominent strengths is my knowledge on medication management to help keep my client on the right track.
Through all of my years of experience, I have worked with clients of all ages but my preferred focus are working with adolescents and above. Although I have no issue with all ages, I see a significant bond with the latter group of patients.
