About me

Hi, my name is Faith Ayeni, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals and families can heal and grow. With years of experience in schools, clinics, and community settings, I strive to equip clients with practical tools for mental wellness—including emotional awareness, coping skills, self-understanding, stronger relationships, and increased confidence. Outside of my work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, watching movies, and attending musicals. “Healing doesn’t mean the challenges never existed—it means they no longer hold you back”

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. You can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space to share your thoughts and feelings, while we begin identifying your goals and exploring strategies to support your well-being. Together, we’ll start building a foundation for growth, self-understanding, and positive change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I provide a safe, supportive space and use a strengths-based, personalized approach to help clients work towards their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating school, family, and life transitions. I help those experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, to build coping skills, emotional awareness, confidence, and stronger relationships. If you’re looking for a safe, supportive space to ventilate your feelings, better understand yourself and develop practical tools for mental wellness, our work together may be a great fit.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Individuals grow best when they feel understood, accepted, and in control of their own process. The individual is viewed as the expert of their own life. As the clinician I will create a space that help the individual discover their own answers.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This treatment plan will help you to learn to identify negative thoughts, challenge them, and do things differently so you can feel better. If you change the thought and action, the feeling changes too.

Motivational Interviewing

As the clinician I will help individuals find their own reasons for making a change, without pressure, judgement, or being told what to do. My process is about guiding not convincing.
