Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who is passionate about helping people work through life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth, and I strive to meet you where you are in a way that feels supportive, collaborative, and genuine. I earned my MSW from Boston College in 2020 and bring a modern, practical perspective to therapy. My professional background includes working in fast-paced emergency departments, inpatient psychiatry units, and behavior modification programs, experiences that have strengthened my appreciation for resilience and the many ways people find strength during difficult times. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a transition, or looking for space to better understand yourself, I aim to provide thoughtful, grounded support tailored to your needs.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a confidential, no-pressure space where we’ll begin getting to know each other. You’ll have the opportunity to share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and learn more about my approach. We’ll talk through your goals and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, while also making sure you feel comfortable and supported.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I’m an empathetic, down-to-earth therapist who believes real change starts with feeling understood. I bring strong listening and problem-solving skills to help you make sense of what’s going on and find a way forward that feels right for you. My style is collaborative and compassionate. I’ll meet you where you are, offer honest support, and work alongside you to build confidence, balance, and emotional well-being.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
As a therapist, I specialize in supporting young adults, women, and anyone navigating major life transitions; whether that’s starting a new career, adjusting to adulthood, managing relationship changes, or redefining your sense of self. I’m passionate about helping people through these turning points with empathy, respect, and curiosity. My goal is to create a space where you can explore what’s next, build confidence in your decisions, and find balance and fulfillment during times of change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based approach to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors - while also recognizing and building on the strengths you already have. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or feeling stuck, and develop practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking and support healthier coping. At the same time, we’ll highlight your resilience, skills, and past successes to create a foundation for growth and confidence. This approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on meaningful, sustainable change. My goal is to support you in building insight, balance, and practical skills you can use both in and outside of therapy.
