My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured and evidenced-based approach to help clients address their thought, emotions, and behaviors. I collaborate with clients to identify specific issues they want to work on such as anxiety, depression, or stress management. Through guided discussions, I help them recognize and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to their emotional distress.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a client-centered approach to enhance motivation and facilitate meaningful change. This method is particularly effective for individuals facing ambivalence about making changes in their lives, whether related to substance abuse, lifestyle habits, relationships, or mental health challenges.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a specialized approach to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. I start by establishing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I guide clients in understanding and reframing their thoughts related to the truama.

Christian Counseling

Christian counseling is a holistic approach that integrates faith and spirituality with therapeutic principals. I create a safe place for clients to explore their emotional and spiritual challenges, drawing on biblical teachings and prayer as tools for healing and guidance. By aligning therapeutic goals with clients' faith values, I help them find hope, purpose, and strength in their spiritual beliefs, fostering resilience and personal growth while addressing their mental health concerns.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) helps to identify and achieve goals in a time-efficient manner. This approach emphasizes solutions and future possibilities rather than dwelling on problems. I guide clients in recognizing their strengths and past successes, encouraging them to envision their desired outcomes and develop actionable steps to reach them.
