(she/her)
I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and practical tools. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stress. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful changes aligned with your values. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking personal growth, I’m here to help you build resilience, gain insight, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Your first session is focused on helping you feel comfortable and supported. We’ll start with a brief introduction and a review of confidentiality, so you can feel confident that this is a safe and private space. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and support system to better understand your experiences and needs. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and discussing a plan tailored to you. By the end of the session, many clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, a few practical tools they can begin using right away, and reassurance that they are not facing their challenges alone.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are compassion, practicality, and adaptability. I create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard and supported, while also offering evidence-based tools that promote meaningful and lasting change. I have a strong ability to break down complex emotions and thought patterns into clear, manageable steps, helping growth feel achievable rather than overwhelming. My work is both insightful and action-oriented, supporting clients in gaining understanding while also building practical skills they can apply in daily life. I tailor my approach to each individual whether you benefit most from gentle encouragement, structured strategies, or deeper self-exploration, I meet you where you are. My goal is to help you feel empowered, resilient, and more aligned with the life you want to create.
I work best with clients who feel stuck in negative thought patterns, overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or life transitions, and are ready to make meaningful changes. Whether you're struggling with self-doubt, stress, past trauma, or relationship challenges, I help you develop practical coping skills and a new way of relating to your thoughts and emotions. My approach is ideal for individuals who want a balance of self-exploration and action oriented strategies, guiding you toward a life that aligns with your values and goals. If you're open to learning, growing, and making small but powerful shifts, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
In my therapy practice, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients stop struggling with their thoughts and emotions and start living a life that aligns with their values. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult feelings, ACT teaches people to accept them while still moving forward. I guide clients through mindfulness exercises to stay present, help them reframe negative thoughts with techniques like "leaves on a stream," and work with them to identify what truly matters whether that’s relationships, career, or personal growth. From there, we focus on taking small, meaningful actions toward their goals, even when discomfort is present. This approach has been incredibly effective for anxiety, depression, trauma, and even chronic pain, helping people break free from avoidance and step into a more fulfilling life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my therapy practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. The goal is to identify negative thinking patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. For example, if a client struggles with anxiety, we might explore the thoughts fueling their worry like assuming the worst will happen and challenge those beliefs with evidence. I also guide clients through behavioral strategies, such as gradual exposure for fears or scheduling enjoyable activities to lift their mood. By combining thought work with real life action, CBT helps clients break free from unhelpful patterns and build practical skills to manage stress, depression, and anxiety more effectively. It’s all about learning to think in a way that supports well being and taking action that aligns with their goals.

I liked that she helped me see my personal issues in other points of views but also made sure that I wasn’t wrong for feeling the way I do and I like how she listened to my worst moments
