About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania with 15+ years of experience in the mental health field. I have experience working in various clinical settings as a leader and educator. I am passionate about helping my clients work through depression, anxiety, family conflicts, self-esteem issues, and major life transitions. I understand that life can be hard and messy. Taking the first step to seek therapy can be overwhelming, but the healing process is transformative!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a "getting to know you phase". This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I work from a non-judgmental harm-reduction lens, presenting the therapeutic environment as a safe space to process feelings and help clients to find their voice. I take a person-centered approach to treatment, respecting the client as the author of their own story.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, exploration of patterns/emotions, psychoeducation, role-playing, structured problem-solving, and cognitive reframing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with the geriatric population, adults, teens, and children who are struggling as they transition through life challenges. It is also very important to me to give space for people of color to feel comfortable exploring issues of race.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Cultural background and perspective have a huge impact on the way we think, act and relate to the world. A deeper understanding of these cultural components is key to self-discovery.
