Hi, I’m Tehseen, and I’m so glad you are here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 8 years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming, low-pressure space focused on connection and clarity. We’ll begin with introductions and take time for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, including your current challenges, symptoms, stressors, past experiences with therapy, and goals for the future. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your needs, what has or hasn’t worked for you before, and what you hope to gain from our work. I’ll also explain my clinical approach so you have a clear sense of what to expect moving forward. Together, we’ll determine if we’re a good fit and begin creating a personalized, structured treatment plan that feels supportive, collaborative, and paced in a way that is comfortable and safe for you.

The biggest strengths I bring into our sessions are my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood, along with a clear, focused approach that helps you make meaningful progress. I value authenticity and direct communication—I’m interested in the story you tell and in helping you uncover and meet your deeper needs. Clients often appreciate my ability to identify patterns that keep them feeling stuck and to balance thoughtful emotional exploration with practical, skills-based strategies. I’m best positioned to serve teens and adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, grief, abuse, family or generational challenges, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or relationship difficulties. I work especially well with thoughtful, self-reflective individuals—even those who aren’t sure where to begin—who want both a safe space to process emotions and practical tools to move forward. I support young people building resilience and healthy coping skills. Together, we explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships, helping you build insight, confidence, and skills that support lasting growth and well-being.
