New clients continue care with this provider

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been working with individuals, families and groups for over 6 years. I completed my educational track in 4 years and graduated Phi Alpha Honors from Loma Linda University. I pride myself on making genuine connections and supporting others as they make behavioral changes. I specialize in EMDR and trauma, CBT, DBT and client centered approaches.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session we will get to know one another which will support the goal creating process. We will talk about past, present and future struggles and/or worries that may be getting in the way. I like to spend time understanding how you are being affected in the unique situation that is currently impacting your day to day functioning. We will also set some ground rules so there is no confusion. My goal is to create an open, honest, safe and therapeutically blunt space for real change!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I pride myself on making genuine connections which supports individuals in making behavioral changes. I work to be present, nonjudgmental and honest. During our time together I am also learning and I appreciate feedback and working through differences of opinion.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My passion is serving others who have served others and forgotten about themselves in the process. People who may be struggling at their current stage of life need support and get some of their questions answered. Trauma is trauma and can stay stuck which tends to keep us stuck and lost. Working with a partner to help guide you on your path to success is what we can do together.

My treatment methods

EMDR

Trauma can impact every person different and can even stay stuck thus hindering additional experiences. I am EMDR trained and have witnessed many individuals process trauma and decrease activation after 3-4 EMDR reprocessing sessions; this could be you!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Thoughts can often trip us up and block us from moving forward. Working with individuals to help restore and regain their path has been my passion for years.
