Hello and welcome! The journey forward begins with you, and you have made that first step to begin this endeavor. It is my hope that I can come along side you and help you navigate your journey by facing and overcoming challenges of the past and present that have been inhibiting you from reaching your fullest potential and becoming the best version of yourself. My name is Lesley Eckhardt, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida with 25+ years of experience in crisis, trauma, and attachment, as well as depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD, working with children, teens, adults, and the elderly, as well as multi-generational family systems. As a clinician, I utilize a client-centered approach within a systems framework, allowing for personal and interpersonal insights and developing healthy cognitive and behavioral responses that will lead to personal growth. It is my desire to provide you the compassion and acceptance that is needed to break the ties that are keeping you from moving forward. I have worked in the fields of crisis counseling, school-based counseling, therapeutic foster care, parenting, and adoptions particularly related to attachment theory. I have also provided homeschool, academic, and career counseling and life coaching.

Lesley has a very positive outlook on life and all the challenges and rewards that come with life itself. Whatever we talk about I am left with the positive side and realize the negative side is only the negative side which can be a positive side also. It is how one approaches each challenge that life has to offer. All is well and not doom and gloom.

To say that Ms. Lesley (that's how I address her) is an angel on Earth would be an understatement. Her active-listening is perfectly coupled with a warm personality and kind heart. She is able to pinpoint things in the conversation that need to be expanded on, and aids in reflection. Life is hard, and reminds us to give ourselves grace during the tough times.
