New to Grow
Hi, I’m Christine Robinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals, children, and families find hope, healing, and balance. My approach is intentional and compassionate, I meet clients where they are and provide a safe, supportive space for growth. I bring experience in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use recovery, and family conflict, with the belief that everyone has the ability to create meaningful change when given the right tools and support.
In our first session, I focus on getting to know you and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, your challenges, and what support looks like for you. I know it can feel intimidating to open up, so I move at your pace and create a comfortable, non-judgmental space. Together, we’ll start building a plan that feels realistic and tailored to you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the process ahead.
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel understood and supported. I take an intentional approach to healing, blending compassion with structure so clients leave each session with both encouragement and practical tools. With experience supporting children, teens, and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, borderline traits, and recovery, I am able to meet clients at many different stages of their journey. My focus is on helping you slow down, reflect, and make purposeful steps forward, always at a pace that feels right for you.
My ideal clients are those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps but are ready to start making small, intentional changes. I work well with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline traits, or PTSD, as well as those navigating recovery from substance use. Many of my clients are learning how to set boundaries, rebuild self-esteem, and strengthen their relationships. If you’re seeking a therapist who will walk alongside you with encouragement, honesty, and practical tools, I may be a good fit for you.
I use CBT to help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier ways of thinking and coping. Together, we practice skills that you can use in everyday life to manage stress, anxiety, and mood. I like CBT because it’s practical, goal-oriented, and gives you tools you can take with you outside of sessions.
“I incorporate DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. These tools help clients learn how to manage overwhelming emotions and improve relationships. My goal is to give clients strategies they can lean on when life feels intense or unpredictable.
I approach therapy with an understanding of how past experiences can shape current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I create a safe, supportive environment where healing can happen at your own pace, with compassion and empowerment at the center.
I use SFBT when clients want to focus on their strengths and future goals. This approach helps us identify what’s already working and build on those successes to create positive change.
I use MI to support clients who feel stuck or ambivalent about making changes in their life. This method is collaborative and helps you find your own motivation and confidence to take the next steps.
