You may look like you have everything together on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted. Your mind may overthink, your body may feel tense, and it can feel hard to fully relax or feel at ease. If you’ve tried therapy before and still feel stuck, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. I’m Jenny, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I help adults and teens who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, or life stress feel safer and more settled inside. My approach is warm, grounded, and real. Therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about helping your nervous system release what it has been carrying so you can experience real, lasting relief.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a space to slow things down and focus on you. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping therapy can help with. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we move at your pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying what your nervous system needs in order to feel safer and more regulated. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your goals and a gentle plan for how therapy can support you moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring a calm, steady presence and a deep understanding of how anxiety and trauma live in both the mind and body. I am trained in EMDR, hypnotherapy, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, and I am a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional and a Clinical Trauma Professional Level II. These tools allow me to tailor therapy to each client and work beyond surface-level coping skills. My focus is on helping you feel grounded, understood, and supported while doing meaningful work that leads to real change—not overwhelm.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults and teens who are high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, tense, or emotionally overwhelmed on the inside. Many of my clients are responsible, self-aware, and motivated, yet struggle with overthinking, emotional regulation, or the lasting effects of past experiences. I am especially well suited for clients seeking support for anxiety, trauma, stress, and feeling stuck despite previous therapy. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, compassionate therapist who offers both emotional support and deeper nervous-system work, we may be a good fit.
EMDR
EMDR helps process past experiences that continue to affect how you feel, think, or react in the present. We work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, without needing to relive or retell every detail. EMDR supports the nervous system in releasing what has been stuck so anxiety, emotional intensity, and triggers begin to soften over time.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness and somatic techniques help you become more aware of what’s happening in your body and emotions in the moment. These tools support grounding, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of safety. They are especially helpful for calming anxiety, reducing overwhelm, and learning how to settle your nervous system during daily life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT focuses on identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, or low mood. We work on developing practical coping strategies while also increasing self-understanding and emotional flexibility. CBT is used in a supportive, collaborative way—not rigid or one-size-fits-all.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, optional approach that can support relaxation, insight, and deeper emotional processing. It is not about losing control, but rather about accessing a calm, focused state where meaningful internal work can happen. When appropriate, hypnotherapy can help reduce anxiety, increase self-awareness, and support lasting change.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
At the foundation of my work is a person-centered approach. Therapy is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to you as an individual. I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Your goals, values, and pace guide our work together.

I chose Jenny, her voice was soothing to my ears. She allowed me the time to articulate my feelings without assuming where my thoughts were headed. She listened to understand me. She gave me the space to confide in my most authentic self. She listened with compassion and without judgment, offering the space to find the answers I had buried under years of self doubt. She has a gift and I am so grateful she is here for me.
