LCSW, 12 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas but also licensed in the state of North Carolina. I received my Master's degree from the University of Texas Pan-American and have been practicing for 12 years. I help guide people of all ages through their difficult times and focus on emotional and mental self-growth. Finding the push we need in life is possible when we seek specialized help that will foster a healthier version of ourselves.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a plan, tailored to your individual needs, for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked at an inpatient hospital prepared me in working with clients of all backgrounds, ages, and symptomologies. My ability to fully evaluate and adjust to the client's mental health needs and treatment is what makes me the most effective.
I welcome clients of all ages and backgrounds that are eager and open to accept the journey of self-discovery through individual therapy. Clients that often feel overwhelmed with the stressors and unexpected events in life.
I have 10 years of experience utilizing this method to help clients process single, complex, and chronic traumatic events. I find this method to be highly effective in guiding clients and assisting them in managing their trauma-related symptoms.
I have 12 years of experience utilizing the Strength-Based modality, especially when working with clients experiencing depressive symptoms. This method focuses and uplifts the individual's perspective of self-worth while also being highly effective in improving daily functioning.
I have experience in working with clients through their grief process on an individual basis and in a hospice setting. Many of us experience grief during the passing or after the loss of a loved one.
I several years working with clients of all ages where Solution Focused Brief Treatment was highly effective, especially given the time and situational conflicts that present in our everyday lives. These conflicts cause temporary stress but could be highly dysfunctional when not given the proper treatment.
