Welcome! I'm Erica Fitts, LMFT You're here, which means that you have taken steps toward enhancing your mental wellness. Beginning your therapy journey can be scary, exciting, and powerful. One of the primary benefits of therapy is emotional support and validation. I encompass a therapeutic, non judgmental, safe space for clients to express themselves freely. I foster a sense of comfort, empathy, and compassion while helping clients navigate their emotions and gain fresh perspective. Therapy serves as a tool for self exploration. By engaging in meaningful introspective exercises clients will develop healthier coping tools, leading to personal growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we'll start with introductions, presenting problem, and work toward developing plans to address the presenting problem in follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my greatest strengths are my ability to provide care that is tailored to the clients needs while implementing an array of skills to help enhance healthy coping.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been using CBT in my practice for the past 9 years. The method helps clients to identify and change negative thought patterns to improve their quality of life. CBT can help clients improve communication, resolve conflicts, and learn practical strategies to use in everyday life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I've been using DBT in my practice for the past 7 years. The DBT method helps clients to manage their emotions, cope with difficult situations, and improve relationships.

Compassion Focused

I've been using CFT in my practice for the past 4 years. This method helps clients to develop self compassion, manage self criticism, respond to self criticism with kindness and compassion, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
