Hi, I’m Lisbeth. I’m a licensed counselor and art therapist who specializes in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences and begin to heal. In our work together, I draw from CBT, EMDR, Art Therapy, and Mindfulness practices to help you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped to manage life’s challenges. What makes my practice unique is my use of creative self-expression as a powerful path to growth and change. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m committed to creating an affirming and inclusive space.
In our first few sessions, you can expect to feel supported and heard as we work together to understand what you’ve been experiencing. I’ll help you identify practical tools and coping strategies so you begin to feel more grounded and in control. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable, focusing on building trust and a strong foundation for our work together.
My approach integrates CBT, EMDR, Art therapy, and Mindfulness to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and equipped to manage life’s challenges. I also encourage creative self-expression as a powerful tool for growth, especially when words alone aren’t enough. My work is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.
I work best with adults between the ages of 18 and 30, including college students navigating the unique pressures of that season of life. I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ and queer individuals who are looking for an affirming, judgment-free space to explore their mental health. My ideal clients are those living with depression, anxiety, or ADHD — and who may also be carrying some past trauma they're ready to begin working through. I'm drawn to clients who are motivated and curious, particularly those interested in creative approaches like art therapy or evidence-based methods like EMDR.
EMDR
Using this evidence-based approach to treating trauma, I work together with clients to reduce the emotional distress connected to past events.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help clients examine and change negative thoughts that affect behavior and emotions. This process includes using tool-building skills to manage challenges, reduce stress, and create lasting positive change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Practicing Mindfulness meditation during therapy sessions can help clients ground, integrate their thoughts and emotions, and remain calm in difficult situations.
