Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. You can expect a calm, welcoming atmosphere where you can share at your own pace. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals, background, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. We’ll begin identifying what you’d like to focus on and outline a plan that feels realistic and supportive. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling comfortable, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are creating a genuine connection with clients and tailoring therapy to meet their unique needs. I bring warmth, curiosity, and cultural awareness to every session. My background includes extensive work supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. I use evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches to help clients identify patterns, build resilience, and find practical strategies for daily life. I believe growth happens when clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore new perspectives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives but may feel uncertain about where to start. Many are managing anxiety, depression, or stress, and want to find better ways to cope and communicate. I especially enjoy working with individuals who have faced cultural or systemic barriers to mental health care and are seeking a safe, judgment-free space to be heard and understood. My clients often share a desire for personal growth, self-awareness, and improved emotional balance. Together, we work toward clarity, healing, and renewed confidence.
