LPCC, 10 years of experience
Do you always seem to be struggling on the fringes or even have intense trauma, anxiety, or depression? Are you from a minority population, or a marginalized group? You deserve to have a space of healing and complete acceptance to further explore, grow, and understand yourself. It is my goal as a provider to work on what YOU want to work on during your journey of growth and healing. You are your own expert, I'm just here to keep us on the path. I am a Half-Turkish LPCC-S who specializes in EMDR, cultural diversity, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ concerns, alternative lifestyles, and neurodivergent populations. I am intensely passionate about meeting clients where they are and working on goals collaboratively with clients and any supports in their lives with whatever method that works the best for them. Starting therapy no matter how many times you may have tried before, can be frightening but I am here to help make this process go smoothly! Let us work together and see where your life can go, and how it can change!
In our first session, I will discuss with you why you have come to therapy this time, whether that is your first time ever in therapy or your 100th. It is always my goal to make you feel comfortable and able to discuss your issues with me from the first minute to the last so all questions that you have can and will be answered. I will set some expectations for communication outside of sessions and discuss availability as well. The first session will typically involve more information gathering regarding how your life is being effected by your concerns. If you are interested in EMDR I will also provide plenty of information regarding that methodology as well and gauge your interest and the appropriateness of this method for you!
I feel that working with those with multi-cultural backgrounds are widely overlooked, even marginalized in our current society. I want to help those that feel like the outcasts, and help them find themselves and their communities, no matter what that means for you. I also feel that those who are neurodivergent have constantly been told that they do not matter, or they are too weird, or too crazy, or not normal and therefore have a deep self-hatred. I relish the opportunity to help those people let go of these negative thoughts that can consume their lives.
I believe that I would best serve those that are Neurodivergent, have anxiety, trauma, or those in immigrant populations.

I was all over the place trying to explain what I was wanting out of therapy. She was so inviting and easy to talk to! I loved how she listened and asked questions relevant to my experiences.

One of the things that's wonderful about Ayse as a therapist is that you can legitimately see that she is not judging you. It's not a blank therapist expression, she is engaged, she is expressive, she is solution-oriented and not afraid to bring up new therapy solutions. She's warm and kind and knows how to focus even my incredibly scattered AuDHD self. It's not often in my experience to find a therapist who is so well suited to a variety of needs.

Asye is the most inviting, warm, kind, compassionate, funny, and authentic therapist I have ever had. She has changed my life completely and I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t booked with her.
I am EMDR trained and have been using this method for approximately 2 years now, I especially use resources and grounding methods if it is appropriate for the client.
I truly pull from any and all methods I am familiar with to better serve my clients. If there is a particular method you are comfortable with, and I have the knowledge base, I will use it! I have the tendency to pull from CBT, DBT, and person centered methods more frequently to meet a client where they are and provide them with the skills they need.
