Hi! I am a Social Worker with a clinical license in Michigan. I have been practicing at a clinical level for the last 10 years however have been in the social work field for 17 years. I take a collaborative approach to your care because I believe you are the expert of yourself and your life even when it may not feel that way due to circumstances, negative thought patterns, and strong difficult emotions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session we will spend some time getting to know each other and exploring what you are looking for in a therapist and what lead to you seeking treatment. This will allow you time to ensure that I am a good fit for you and for us to have an initial plan for your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In my practice trauma survivors have varying reactions but each have the desire to move forward and feel safe and secure. My passion is to guide clients to be strong, powerful and self-aware. Trauma therapy utilizing EMDR and DBT skills training provides you with the tools to develop positive beliefs and the emotional regulation needed to take back control.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Feel like you can’t trust and feel safe; anxious about new relationships; unable to regulate emotions and reactions? Imagine a future no longer plagued by your trauma. A future where you’re confident identifying dangers and safety aptly.
