Whether you’re navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or the challenges of being a people-pleaser, I’m here to walk alongside you. As an LGBTQIA-affirming therapist, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be your authentic self. I specialize in supporting women and LGBTQIA+ clients, honoring your unique experiences and helping you break painful cycles to live more fully and authentically.
Our first session is all about you. Together, we will: Explore your story and the challenges you’re facing Identify your goals for therapy Answer your questions and make sure you feel comfortable with the process I take a holistic approach, looking at the whole you—your strengths, values, and unique qualities—not just your struggles. Together, we’ll determine which strategies best support your journey, drawing from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. This session sets the stage for healing, growth, and positive change.
I provide a compassionate, empathetic space where clients feel truly seen and understood. My background in both mental health and substance use allows me to integrate emotional insight with practical tools. By blending CBT, EMDR, Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. Above all, I am committed to being an affirming, empowering presence in your life.
I work with adults 18+ and offer both in-person and online therapy. I have a special focus on women and LGBTQIA+ individuals, providing a space where your identity is celebrated and respected. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my work with CBT, I love helping clients notice and challenge the thought patterns that keep them stuck. I guide you in breaking down overwhelming problems into manageable steps and discovering practical ways to shift negative thinking. Over time, I’ve seen how empowering it is when clients begin to take control of their thoughts and emotions, gaining tools they can use every day to manage anxiety, depression, and stress.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-Centered Therapy is at the heart of how I work with people. I focus on creating a space where you feel truly heard, valued, and understood. My approach is grounded in empathy and unconditional positive regard—I aim to meet you exactly where you are. I’ve found that when clients feel safe and accepted, they begin to trust themselves more, explore their feelings deeply, and uncover their own path to growth and healing.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I often integrate mindfulness practices into sessions because I’ve seen how powerful they can be for calming the mind and reconnecting with the present. I guide clients through techniques like deep breathing, body scans, and guided meditation, helping you notice and honor your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Over time, clients tell me they feel more centered, resilient, and able to respond to stress with curiosity rather than fear.
EMDR
EMDR has been one of the most transformative tools in my practice, especially for clients processing trauma or deeply held emotional pain. I work closely with you in a safe, in-person setting to help reframe distressing memories and integrate new perspectives. I’ve seen clients experience profound shifts—moments of relief, clarity, and self-compassion that they didn’t think were possible. It’s deeply rewarding to witness this kind of healing unfold.

Dacey is my dream therapist. I never thought I’d find someone I can talk to and just let everything out. She’s like a friend I can talk to and never feel like I’m being judged. Dacey is great! She has a great balance of listening, questioning to make me think differently, and she always makes me feel safe and comfortable. She also always makes sure to encourage me by telling me how brave and strong I am being and how much that shows about my character, which really helps boost my own self esteem.

She's always willing to help and listens to what I have to say even when I think it's silly. She helps me understand that my feelings and opinions matters and that its ok to have bad days. She makes me feel seen and heard and I really couldn't ask for anyone better to be my therapist.
