I am a licensed clinician dedicated to helping individuals break free from stuck patterns, navigate complex trauma, and build stable, fulfilling lives. My practice focuses heavily on adult mental health, substance use recovery, and specialized behavioral tracks—specifically treating pornography addiction, intimacy challenges, and compulsive, sexualized coping loops. I recognize that deeply stigmatized or complex challenges often carry overwhelming shame, which is why my clinical space is entirely non-judgmental, collaborative, and objective. By integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with body-based Somatic Therapy, I help you heal both the mind and a dysregulated nervous system. Together, we look beyond baseline talk therapy to restore your personal autonomy, expand your distress tolerance, and create real, lasting behavioral integrity. You don't have to navigate these heavy stressors alone; I am here to work alongside you as a dedicated teammate.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about building a safe foundation and creating a shared roadmap for your growth. We will start with brief introductions to ensure you feel entirely comfortable in the space, and then pivot into a collaborative conversation about what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current stressors, explore your history, and clarify your personal goals. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so we will use this time to discuss how we can best weave together CBT, DBT, or somatic tools to fit your specific lifestyle and unique nervous system needs. My goal is to completely demystify the therapy process; you will never be left wondering what to do next. You can expect to leave this very first session with a clearer sense of direction, relief from unburdening your immediate stressors, and a concrete action plan for the weeks ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a clinician lies in my ability to handle highly complex, deeply stigmatized, and sensitive behavioral challenges with objective, clinical precision and genuine empathy. Because of my extensive forensic background and familiarity with containment methodologies, I excel at stripping away the layer of shame that frequently traps people in harmful behavioral patterns, addictions, or court compliance loops. Additionally, my ability to blend "top-down" cognitive restructuring (CBT/DBT) with "bottom-up" somatic nervous system regulation allows me to offer truly holistic care. I don't just help you understand your patterns intellectually; I teach you how to physically calm your body's fight-or-flight response when distress spikes. This unique dual approach empowers my clients to build exceptional distress tolerance, break complex habit loops, and secure profound, long-term personal stability.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals navigating complex life transitions, substance use recovery, behavioral patterns, or deep-seated trauma who are looking for a practical, collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental space to heal. I specialize in working with adults who experience the physical and emotional exhaustion of a dysregulated nervous system—whether that shows up as chronic anxiety, mood fluctuations, or utilizing compulsive behaviors and sexualized loops as a subconscious coping mechanism to manage deeper psychological distress. I am particularly well-positioned to serve individuals seeking to break free from cycles of shame surrounding intimacy, pornography addiction, or forensic/court compliance structures. My "dream client" is someone who is ready to look beyond basic talk therapy and combine actionable mindset tools with body-based healing to regain personal autonomy, fortify their distress tolerance, and build a stable life rooted in long-term behavioral integrity. Whether you are dealing with general mental health challenges or navigating deeply stigmatized struggles, you will find an objective, clinically precise teammate in me.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I appreciate being held accountable for my client's to be able to notice measure able change due to their treatment. While it is important to understand your past, SFBT allows us to focus heavily on your future. We will hone in on your natural strengths, clarify your immediate goals, and explore what is already working in your life. This approach ensures that our time together is highly collaborative, actionable, and focused on creating measurable progress from day one.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I see DBT as CBT's more trendy and progressive sibling. While CBT can force change, that is not always accessible immediately. That is where DBT comes in. Life can bring intense emotions that feel impossible to manage. Using DBT, I will teach you tangible, real-world skills to navigate crisis moments, regulate overwhelming emotions, improve your relationships, and tolerate distress without relying on old, harmful coping mechanisms.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply connected. When you are feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed, it is easy to fall into negative thinking loops. Together, we will identify these unhelpful patterns, break them down, and rebuild them into realistic, balanced perspectives that change how you feel and act day-to-day. I lean into the behaviorist aspect of CBT always considering that humans continue to take actions because they obtain benefit. I assist in identifying the function of undesirable behaviors and effectively replacing the behavior to foster sustainable change.

Mind-body approach

Trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress don't just live in our thoughts—they get physically trapped in our nervous systems as a constant "fight-or-flight" response. Using somatic (body-based) therapy, I will teach you to recognize the physical signs of stress before they become overwhelming. Together, we will use concrete tools like grounding and nervous system regulation to widen your capacity for difficult emotions, step on the physiological "brake pedal," and safely release trapped survival energy so you feel anchored and present.

Sex Therapy

Sexual behavior is frequently used as a powerful, subconscious coping mechanism to manage deeper, unrelated psychological pain—such as chronic loneliness, trauma, stress, or a dysregulated nervous system. In my practice, I specialize in treating pornography addiction, sexualized coping loops, and intimacy challenges with a highly objective, non-judgmental, and clinically precise approach. Together, we will untangle the root causes driving these compulsive patterns, break down the underlying habit loops, and build healthy alternative behaviors. My goal is to help you strip away the isolation and shame often tied to these struggles, allowing you to regain personal autonomy, restore behavioral integrity, and build genuinely fulfilling relationships.
