I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with six years of experience supporting children, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on your strengths. I work with clients who may be feeling stuck, experiencing anxiety, processing trauma, going through life transitions, or struggling in relationships. My goal is to help you gain practical tools and deeper self-understanding so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and lasting healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, you can expect a safe, judgment free space where you are encouraged to show up exactly as you are. I will walk you through how the therapy process works so you feel informed and comfortable. We will review confidentiality, discuss what you can expect from our work together, and I will answer any questions you may have. We will then spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, learning more about you, and discussing what you hope to gain from our sessions. Together, we will begin identifying goals and talk about how we can work toward them in a way that feels realistic and attainable. We will also discuss consistency, session frequency, and your preferences to make sure our work together fits your needs and schedule.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider include building strong, trusting relationships through empathy, active listening, and authenticity. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and comfortable being open about their experiences. I believe each person already holds the wisdom and capacity for change, and my role is to help bring that forward. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, walking alongside clients as they gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and move toward lives that feel more stable and fulfilling. My work is trauma-informed and client-centered, allowing me to meet each client where they are, while offering both insight and practical tools that support growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with children, adults, families, and couples who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, attachment wounds, generational patterns, conflict, or major life transitions. Many of the clients I support are seeking healthier ways to understand their experiences, improve relationships, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. I am best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to engage in healing work that honors their stories and strengths and who are open to trusting the therapeutic process. Together, we will work as a team to process experiences, identify meaningful goals, and practice practical tools while gaining deeper insight into the patterns that may be impacting your life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support individuals in identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. By learning to reframe distorted cognitions and develop healthier coping strategies, individuals gain insight and tools to reduce anxiety, manage negative thoughts, combat self-doubt, and cope more effectively with emotional overwhelm.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to enhance motivation for change by creating a supportive space that encourages self-exploration. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and scaling, I help individuals uncover their strengths, stage of change, and reasons for change, empowering them to take meaningful steps aligned with their personal goals.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is used to help individuals create space for difficult emotions and reduce avoidance by fostering mindfulness and self-compassion. By identifying their core values and committing to purposeful action, individuals will develop greater psychological flexibility and resilience, even in the face of uncertainty.

Trauma Informed Care

This approach honors each individual's story. I implement a trauma-informed care lens that emphasizes emotional safety, trust, and empowerment throughout the healing process. By integrating inner child work, parts work, attachment theory, and somatic techniques, I support individuals in gently processing trauma at their own pace without re-triggering.

Structural Family Therapy

This approach honors the unique dynamics within each family system. I utilize a Structural Family Therapy lens that focuses on strengthening family structure, clarifying roles, and improving communication patterns within the household. By helping families identify boundaries, shift unhelpful interaction patterns, and strengthen healthy leadership within the family, I support families in creating more balanced, supportive, and connected relationships.
