About me

I became a therapist because I personally experienced how powerful it can be to have someone guide and support you through life’s challenges. The therapist I worked with helped me grow and find practical tools to navigate difficult times, and I am passionate about offering that same kind of support to others so they can feel heard, understood, and empowered

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is a chance to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I know it can feel nerve-racking to open up to someone new, so we’ll take things at your pace. I encourage you to share any needs or concerns so we can make this process feel safe, supportive, and inviting from the start

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that I meet clients where they are and focus on creating a safe, supportive space. I blend practical tools with empathy, helping people understand their emotions, recognize patterns, and take small, meaningful steps toward change. Clients often notice that this approach helps them feel more grounded, in control, and better able to navigate life’s challenges

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with people who feel stressed, stretched thin, or stuck in old patterns they’re ready to change. Many of my clients are trying to balance a lot with work, family, and relationships and want to feel more present and in control of their emotions. I help them slow down, find better ways to cope, and start feeling more like themselves again.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help people see the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we work on identifying unhelpful thought patterns and replacing them with more balanced, realistic ones. I like that CBT gives people practical tools they can use every day to feel more confident and in control.

Christian Counseling

In Christian counseling, I integrate faith and psychological tools to help people find healing and direction. I encourage clients to lean on their faith as a source of strength while also exploring practical ways to manage stress, relationships, and personal growth. It’s about blending spiritual truth with emotional support in a way that feels authentic and respectful to each person’s beliefs

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use EFT to help individuals and couples better understand the emotions that drive their reactions and relationships. The focus is on building safety, trust, and connection, whether that’s repairing a bond or helping someone learn to express what they really need. I’ve found EFT really helps people feel seen and understood.

Trauma Informed Care

When I work with trauma, I always start with safety and trust. I take things at the client’s pace and help them understand how their experiences may have shaped the way they think and feel today. The goal isn’t to relive the past, but to help them feel more grounded, in control, and connected to themselves again

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use SFBT to help people focus on what’s working and build on their strengths. Instead of spending too much time on the problem, we talk about what they want life to look like and what small steps can get them there. It’s positive, practical, and helps people see that change is possible, even in small ways.
